Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's scheduled appearance at the Nitish Johar program in Ramgarh on January 21 has been postponed to February 3 due to his commitments in Bihar. Jharkhand JDU State President and Rajya Sabha MP, Khiru Mahato, conveyed this information, citing the grand celebration of Karpuri Thakur's birth anniversary in Bihar on January 24 and the Republic Day activities on January 26 as reasons for the change.
Additionally, concerns about worker difficulties in commuting during the cold weather on January 21 influenced the decision to delay the program. Mahato assured that the rescheduling was not linked to any internal strife within the party and emphasized that preparations for Nitish Kumar's visit continue with increased vigor, with workers conferences planned in various regions.
